IT Director with a strong legal firm / LLP background, combined with a mix of cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure/operations, and legal systems software products such as document management / eDiscovery, is required to develop and lead the IT strategy and innovation for an ambitious and respected AM 200 law firm with 10 offices across California. This role will preside over a team and involve driving technology change to meet the firm’s ambitions to innovate and move into new markets.
This role will be based in downtown LA / Los Angeles and will be a hybrid position. Salary Circa $175-235k + Bens + Bonus
Key skills required for this role would include
- Senior management experience within information technology and systems within an AMLAW 200 or similar-sized law firm currently around 150 lawyers.
- Proven experience of aligning technology strategies with legal business to drive legal practice efficency
- IT infrastructure/technology management across networks, servers, Cloud, telecoms and data centre.
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOC 2).
- Proven experience with legal industry software (such as practice management, document management, case management, e-discovery and who has integrated new legal software to drive innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Ability to occasionally travel to firm offices.
