Commercial Account Executive - B2B SAAS

Commercial Account Executive is an opportunity for an ambitious, consultative sales professional to join a rapidly growing, global AI-driven SaaS scale-up that helps mid-market & enterprise clients modernise their IT and business operations. You’ll help accelerate regional growth by driving new business across mid-market and enterprise clients.  This position suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solution-led, multi-stakeholder selling.

In this UK-remote role (ideally located in the South East with proximity to London or Edinburgh / Scottish Central Belt preferred), the Salary is up to £50k base with £100k OTE plus benefits. 

Key skills required for the Commercial Account Executive

  • Circa 3–5 years’ experience in quota-carrying SaaS / B2B software sales.
  • Strong outbound skills; you will be a hunter with a focus on new-logo success, managing consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (typically 90–180 days).
  • Experience with MEDDPICC or Meddicc methods would be an advantage
  • Strong background in business development and relationship-building with mid-market or enterprise customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities across in-person, video, and phone formats.
  • Familiarity with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, or ZoomInfo.
  • Confident negotiator comfortable engaging with IT, procurement, and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience across IT, service management, or enterprise software is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

What you’ll do as a Commercial Account Executive

  • Develop and execute a territory plan focused on generating new business across the UK.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand technical and commercial challenges.
  • Present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of an AI-enabled SaaS platform.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through qualification, solutioning, negotiation, and close.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data within CRM tools.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive offerings to position the solution effectively.
