Account Manager – UK Defence & National Security Tech

We’re partnering with a fast-growing global tech company delivering secure, scalable video collaboration to the world’s most sensitive environments. With customers across MoD, NATO, MOJ, and the US Army, they’re now expanding their UK&I public sector footprint—and looking for a standout Account Manager to lead growth in the Defence and National Security space.
This role focuses on key government accounts—particularly the MoD, Intelligence Services, MOJ, and related Defence/secure departments.

Salary Circa £75-100k + £75-100k OTE (uncapped) + Benefits

Head office is based in Reading, but the location is flexible in the UK, but will involve travel and sales meetups.  Proximity to Reading and Wiltshire is a plus.

🎯 What you’ll be doing as an Account Manager – UK Defence & National Security Tech:

  • Driving new business and farming accounts to grow revenue across high-security central government accounts
  • Navigating complex frameworks like DSP and CCS with confidence
  • Aligning secure technology solutions with frontline operational use cases
  • Partnering with system integrators, defence primes, and internal product teams
  • Representing the brand at strategic defence industry events and forums

🧠 What you’ll bring as an Account Manager – UK Defence & National Security Tech:

  • Proven new business sales experience within secure UK Defence/Government sectors (MoD, Intelligence, MOJ etc.)
  • A background in complex tech sales—enterprise software, secure comms, cyber, cloud, video, or digital defence platforms OR SitaWare
  • Strong knowledge of defence procurement and programme structures
  • SC clearance (or eligibility) is essential
