Problem Manager (Outside IR35 6 Month Contract £500-530 per day) required with strong skills in Problem Management / ITIL skills combined with strong skills in problem management processes, root cause investigation and post incident improvement actions to avoid Incident reoccurrences who has worked in a large complex customer facing web centric IT environment such as ecommerce / retail / travel, OTT or customer facing web systems.

This contract will be hybrid and will involve working West London for some of the week, and will not involve on call.

Key skills required as a Problem Manger would include

  • Strong experience in the role of Problem Manager / Problem Management is the focus of the role / Incident Management who you will be working with closely
  • Proven skills in problem management process and route cause investigation / incident improvement
  • ITIL v3 certification with proven experience over ITSM processes adoption and implementation.
  • Good understanding of technologies: web, ideally e-commerce, IT infrastructure and web applications.
  • Strong customer focus & ability to learn, autonomy, capacity of initiative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, good listening skills.
  • Coordination skills, result focused, used to engagement of manager and director levels
  • Work effectively under pressure.
  • Follow procedures and policies defined as best practices to comply with audit requirements.
  • Motivated with a willingness to learn and drive motivation within the team.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Balanced approach between people, processes and technologies.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

This contract will be working within a dedicated problem management team, liaising with Incident Management / Change management and technical teams across a large-scale world leading technology environment to improve their problem management processes and ways of working.
