Agile Business Analyst

£45000 - £75000 per annum + Bens + Bonus Location: North West

Agile Business Analyst required with background in Agile Business Analysis / Product Owner skills ideally from a Digital customer facing web or ecommerce centric projects with strong skills in Agile Business Analyst / Product Owner and excellent communication skills to work across cross functional teams and directly with clients is required by fast growing international digital agency / technology consultancy in Manchester to flex their skills delivering BA skills on digital centric projects for an impressive range of clients.

Key skills required as a Agile Business Analyst would include

  • Strong skills in BA requirements capture techniques / workshops for complex software systems
  • Experience of delivering web centric / digital projects or ecommerce systems within the private or public sector
  • Strong communication skills / personality & collaborative approach to build relationships with internal teams and customers
  • Extensive as Business Analyst / Product Owner working with cross functional Agile teams, with elements such as developing granular user stories / epics / measurement / prioritisation / measurement etc
  • Proven knowledge of Agile and Scrum, Lean or Kanban principles, with the ability to mentor others
  • An understand of outcomes / value based focussed
  • Strong stakeholder management skills either with internal or external customers as you will be working on customer centric projects
  • Track record of working with cross functional teams with delivery managers; software developers, QA, UX and User Research
  • Comprehensive knowledge of workshop facilitation tools and techniques for a variety of project scenarios
  • Experience of embedding into cross functional Agile team and running ceremonies and providing the product vision
  • You will have a grasp of project management principles, and experience of managing software centric projects is desirable

Key elements of the role as an Agile Business Analyst would include

  • Full lifecycle engagement with customers turning project vision / user experience into
  • Working with external clients to capture user stories, epics and acceptance criteria.
  • Occasional travel to clients sites for meetings
  • To take ownership of the backlog, including prioritisation for the internal cross functional team but also working in tandem with the clients Product Owner
  • Undertake workshops and drive the agile ceremonies as required; sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives etc
  • Working with the cross functional team including Delivery Managers, Software Developers and testers to prepare user stories for delivery
  • Producing user journey maps, process models and other artefacts that help the team deliver according to opportunity/problem space
  • Help clients define & agree the project roadmap, being able to focus on short, medium and long-term goals and deliver business value to the external customer
